IT Belgaum, special interest group of IT related companies from Belgaum, is organizing an Inter-
school Elocution competition for students of Standards 8 to 10.

The event is being organized so that young brains know about information technology and become
aware about the IT companies in Belgaum.

The elocution competition will be held in English and the students can speak on any one of the
following topics:
• Does modern technology make life more convenient, or was life better when technology was
simpler?
• Should Social Networks like Face Book be a part of the school syllabus?
• Is it wrong to download music from the Internet without permission?
• Should Parents decide what Websites should be visited by their children?

Venue: M. V. Herwadkar English Medium High School, Tilakwadi, Belgaum
Date and Time: 2.00 pm on Tuesday, 21st September 2010

There are no entry fees for the competition, and the aspiring students from Standards 8 to 10 should get
in touch with their school principal for more details as all schools have been informed about the same,
and all entries will be entertained only through school.
